About Us

Formerly known as 29 Signs and previous owner Lee Feil built the company in Kiowa County after the devastating May 4th tornado in 2007 that destroyed 95% of the city of Greensburg, Kansas. Mr. Feil served Kiowa County and the surrounding area in 2010 when he built the company in Greensburg, Kansas. In 2012 Lee moved his company to Pratt and partnered with KMMM AM 1290 to expand his business even further across Kansas.

In 2013 Mr. Feil decided to move on to greater ventures and sold 29 Signs to Rocking M Radio and the company currently resides at the KMMM studios located at 30129 E. US Hwy 54 in Pratt, Kansas.

What was behind the name 29 Signs?
A little history takes part in the importance of the name behind 29 Signs, as Mr. Feil is an avid history buff and believed in the importance of the rich history that south central Kansas has to provide. As the Pratt Army Airfield was and continues to be one of the most significant moments in U.S. history. The Pratt Army Field was the first United States Army Air Forces B-29 Superfortress station. In the summer of 1943 the Pratt Army Field received the first YB-29 bomber. The company is now owned by Rocking M Radio and is currently named Wheat State Signs.
